School Psychologist - La Vista, NE

Qualifications:

• Current school psychologist license (required)
• Master’s degree or higher in school psychology or a related field
• Experience working with elementary-age children preferred
• Familiarity with conducting comprehensive psychological assessments
• Strong communication and consultation skills with teachers, parents, and administrators
• Ability to develop and implement intervention and support plans

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate students to determine eligibility for special education services
• Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in partnership with multidisciplinary teams
• Provide direct counseling and crisis intervention as needed
• Support teachers and school staff with behavioral and academic strategies
• Maintain accurate records and prepare required documentation
• Participate in team meetings and stay current with best practices in the field
