Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments onsite to identify student needs and inform educational planning
  • Prepare detailed evaluation reports and documentation remotely, utilizing secure digital tools
  • Participate in IEP meetings, with the potential for virtual attendance as appropriate
  • Collaborate closely with a multidisciplinary team of educators, families, and service providers
  • Deliver consultation to staff and parents on effective strategies for student success
  • Uphold compliance with all relevant state and federal guidelines in special education

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experience with K-12 student populations, including administering and interpreting assessments
  • Strong communication and organization skills, adept at both in-person and remote collaboration
  • Knowledge of IEP process and special education law
  • Comfort with technology for virtual meetings and documentation

This contract role not only offers flexibility through the district’s openness to a hybrid schedule, but also provides a competitive hourly rate of $50 to $65, depending on experience.
