Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree from an accredited School Psychology program
  • Current (or eligibility for) state licensure or certification as a School Psychologist
  • Recent experience working in K-12 educational settings (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of special education law, IEP development, and RTI/MTSS
  • Excellent assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention skills
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Ability to manage priorities and provide solutions in a dynamic school environment

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations, including cognitive, academic, and behavioral assessments
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams, contributing to eligibility decisions and IEP meetings
  • Provide individual and group counseling to support students’ social, emotional, and academic growth
  • Consult with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement intervention strategies
  • Support positive behavior interventions and comprehensive academic planning
  • Maintain accurate and thorough documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
