This contract opportunity focuses on supporting students and staff for approximately 15-20 hours per week, with the convenience of virtual (VOCO) delivery. Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist in New York
- Previous experience as a school psychologist, preferably in a virtual setting
- Strong assessment, counseling, and reporting skills
- Ability to communicate effectively with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Comfortable with virtual platforms for assessments and meetings
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments using a web-based platform
- Interpret test data to support the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Provide virtual consultation and counseling to students, parents, and staff
- Collaborate with special education professionals to design and implement interventions
- Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with state and federal guidelines
- Participate in team meetings and provide expert input on student needs
