School Psychologist - Lakeville, Minnesota

Make a positive impact on the lives of young learners by supporting their growth and development in a school-based setting. A contract opportunity is available for a licensed School Psychologist seeking a dynamic position working with an Early Childhood caseload for the full school year. This 0.8 FTE role is located in the Lakeville, MN area and offers the chance to collaborate with other professionals while focusing on delivering critical services to preschool and early primary students.

Qualifications and Desired Experience:

• Hold a valid School Psychologist credential as required by state regulations
• Previous experience working with early childhood populations in educational settings preferred
• Solid understanding of Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Response to Intervention (RTI), and positive behavior support practices
• Demonstrated ability to perform comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and communicate findings effectively to staff and families
• Strong team collaboration and consultation skills

Responsibilities:

• Provide psychoeducational assessments for young students to identify strengths and needs
• Collaborate with classroom teachers, special educators, and related service providers to develop and implement Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
• Offer consultation and intervention strategies that support emerging academic and social-emotional skills
• Participate in problem-solving and data review meetings
• Maintain accurate documentation and comply with legal guidelines and deadlines
• Engage families and caregivers in the special education process, providing information and support as needed
