Make an impact supporting K-12 students as a dedicated school psychologist on a contract basis near Lakeville, MN. This flexible opportunity welcomes both full-time and part-time in-person (or hybrid) professionals interested in fostering academic, social, and emotional success for diverse learners. Working hours typically run from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm.

In this collaborative environment, you'll contribute your specialized expertise across multiple locations (to be determined), focusing on K-12 and not early childhood. You'll join colleagues equally committed to equity and inclusive educational practices, and play a vital role in assessment, intervention, consultation, and mental health supports.

Desired Qualifications:

  • Education Specialist (Ed.S.) or Doctoral degree in School Psychology, or equivalent credentials
  • Valid Minnesota license as a school psychologist from PELSB
  • Strong knowledge and experience with evidence-based practices for assessment and intervention
  • Demonstrated commitment to equity and culturally responsive service delivery
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and collaboration skills
  • Proficient in crisis prevention, intervention and supporting mental health needs
  • Understanding of federal and state special education law and compliance
  • Preferred: National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or eligibility
  • Preferred: Experience within an MTSS framework and leadership capacity
  • Preferred: Background in urban, multicultural settings

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide comprehensive psych-educational assessments for K-12 students
  • Consult with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams regarding interventions and supports
  • Develop and monitor individualized education and behavioral plans
  • Offer expertise in crisis response and mental health initiatives
  • Foster a positive school climate through collaboration and professional learning
  • Ensure compliance with special education regulations and documentation standards
