School Psychologist in Lakeville, MN

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity near Lakeville, MN, serving K-12 students as a dedicated school psychologist. This role focuses on delivering high-impact psychological and mental health services, supporting inclusive environments and student success. Flexible part-time schedules are available: either 25-26 hours per week (3.5 days) or approximately 18 hours per week (2.5 days), with working hours typically from 8am-4pm. One position has potential for future full-time hours.

Key Qualifications:

• Education Specialist or Doctoral degree in School Psychology (or equivalent)
• Valid Minnesota school psychologist license (PELSB required)
• Commitment to equity, culturally responsive practices, and inclusion
• Solid grounding in evidence-based assessment, intervention, and mental health supports

Preferred Skills:

• National School Psychologist Certification (NCSP) or NCSP-eligible
• Experience in MTSS: consultation, problem-solving, and intervention
• Leadership and facilitation ability, especially with adult learners
• Crisis prevention, intervention, postvention, and mental health support knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and collaboration skills, building trust with diverse stakeholders
• Strong understanding of federal/state special education law and compliance
• Background working in urban or multicultural education settings

Responsibilities:

• Conduct psychoeducational assessments and develop intervention plans
• Collaborate within MTSS frameworks to support students’ academic and social-emotional growth
• Consult with educators, administrators, and families, offering guidance and professional development
• Deliver crisis response, prevention, and wellness services as needed
• Ensure compliance with relevant state and federal special education standards
