Step into a dynamic role serving a K-4 school community with 500 students as a full-time School Psychologist. This contract opportunity offers the chance to make a meaningful difference in young learners' lives, working within a supportive educational setting near Lancaster, PA. You'll play a key role in the provision of psychological services, including evaluations, assessments, and occasional counseling, all within standard school hours.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid School Psychologist certification
  • Experience working with elementary-aged children, preferably in a school setting
  • Strong skills in conducting evaluations and assessments
  • Comfort with providing counseling as needed
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational abilities
  • Commitment to positive student outcomes

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for K-4 students
  • Administer standardized and non-standardized assessments to identify students’ strengths and needs
  • Provide consultation and support to teachers, families, and staff regarding student learning and behavior
  • Offer occasional individual or small group counseling sessions for students, as required
  • Participate actively in multidisciplinary team meetings to develop and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Maintain thorough and confidential documentation
  • Uphold ethical standards and comply with all relevant regulations and best practices
