Step into an essential role supporting K-12 students by providing psychological services in a vibrant educational environment, working full-time (37.5 hours per week) on a contract basis. Key Qualifications:
- Active School Psychologist license in South Carolina (required)
- Experience working with K-12 caseloads across elementary, middle, and high school settings
- Ability to conduct thorough evaluations and multifaceted assessments
- Strong understanding of special education processes and regulations
- Excellent communication and organizational skills to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, school staff, and families
- Commitment to supporting students’ growth and academic success
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver comprehensive psychological services to K-12 students, including conducting assessments, evaluations, and written reports
- Consult with educators, families, and support staff to interpret evaluation results and provide actionable recommendations
- Participate in IEP meetings, contributing expertise in student needs and services
- Assist in the development and implementation of interventions and evidence-based strategies for learning, behavior, and social-emotional development
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to best practices and ethical guidelines for school psychologists
