Exciting opportunity for a skilled and compassionate Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) to serve students in the Lancaster, Texas area and neighboring communities. Key Qualifications:
- Valid Texas LSSP license required
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience working as a School Psychologist within K-12 educational settings
- Expertise in conducting psychoeducational assessments and interpreting results
- Strong commitment to evidence-based interventions and individualized support services
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Ability to work effectively with culturally and linguistically diverse populations
- Knowledge of special education law and procedures
Primary Responsibilities:
- Deliver direct counseling services and crisis intervention for students
- Perform comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and eligibility assessments
- Develop and implement individualized education and behavior intervention plans
- Participate in ARD/IEP meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
- Provide consultation to teachers, staff, and parents regarding student needs
- Support the creation of safe, inclusive, and positive school climates
- Maintain accurate, timely records in compliance with district and state standards
- Travel between assigned campuses within the Lancaster area and surrounding neighborhoods as needed
