Make an impact on students’ lives as a dedicated School Psychologist working with K-12th grade learners in a full-time, contract setting. This itinerant role supports a variety of schools near Lansing, MI, and offers the ability to create meaningful change through Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS), comprehensive evaluations, and direct collaboration with educational teams.

For this position, compensation is structured between $50/hour and $55/hour. Qualified candidates may have access to healthcare benefits, as well as support for housing and daily meals/incidentals during their assignment. Full details of healthcare options become available upon application.

What you’ll bring:

  • Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (required)
  • Experience or strong knowledge of K-12 student needs
  • Expertise in implementing MTSS within school environments
  • Proficiency in conducting psychoeducational and behavioral evaluations
  • In-depth knowledge of IEP processes and effective team collaboration
  • Strong communication, organization, and adaptability in multi-site settings

Core responsibilities include:

  • Serving an itinerant caseload across multiple school sites, supporting a diverse range of learners
  • Conducting individual evaluations to inform special education eligibility and student planning
  • Collaborating with educators, administrators, and families as an active participant in IEP meetings
  • Implementing research-based interventions, monitoring progress, and providing consultation
  • Advocating for equitable access to services, mental health supports, and positive behavioral strategies
  • Contributing to school MTSS efforts to maximize each student’s success
