Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Active or eligibility for state-issued School Psychologist certification
- Previous experience working in school-based settings highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of assessments, interventions, and special education regulations
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to tailor supports to meet the needs of diverse student populations
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual and group assessments to identify learning and behavioral needs
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling to students as appropriate
- Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
- Support development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
- Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
- Advocate for students’ academic and emotional well-being within the school community
