Qualifications and Desired Experience:

  • Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Active or eligibility for state-issued School Psychologist certification
  • Previous experience working in school-based settings highly preferred
  • Strong knowledge of assessments, interventions, and special education regulations
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to tailor supports to meet the needs of diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct individual and group assessments to identify learning and behavioral needs
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and counseling to students as appropriate
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies in collaboration with teachers, administrators, and families
  • Support development of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and progress monitoring
  • Participate in multidisciplinary teams to determine eligibility for special education services
  • Advocate for students’ academic and emotional well-being within the school community
