Key Qualifications:
- Hold a current South Carolina School Psychologist License
- Experience working in educational settings, preferably within a K-12 environment
- Strong background in conducting assessments for Special Education eligibility
- Ability to evaluate for Specific Learning Disabilities using the Patterns of Strengths and Weaknesses (PSW) model
- Skilled in assessing Autism Spectrum Disorder, Emotional Disturbance, Anxiety, Depression, and ADHD
- Excellent communication and collaborative skills with students, families, and school teams
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct full psychoeducational and behavioral assessments for Special Education eligibility
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and administrators to interpret assessment data and develop interventions
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention planning meetings
- Provide guidance on best practices for supporting students with a range of exceptionalities
- Maintain thorough and confidential documentation in alignment with district and state standards
