Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a valid School Psychologist credential or relevant state certification
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field
  • Experiencing working as a School Psychologist in educational settings
  • Strong knowledge of psycho-educational assessments, intervention planning, and special education processes
  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Commitment to maintaining ethical standards and confidentiality

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify academic, emotional, and behavioral needs of K–12 students
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop effective student support strategies
  • Participate in Individualized Education Program (IEP) meetings and contribute to multi-disciplinary student teams
  • Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed for students
  • Support school staff in implementing positive behavioral interventions and supports (PBIS)
  • Document assessments, recommendations, and services in adherence with district and legal guidelines
