Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility as a school psychologist
  • Experience in conducting psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and counseling within an educational environment
  • Familiarity with special education law and Individualized Education Program (IEP) processes
  • Strong communication, organizational, and collaborative skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students, families, teachers, and staff

Key Responsibilities:

  • Administer comprehensive assessments to identify students’ learning needs, strengths, and challenges
  • Develop, implement, and monitor evidence-based interventions for academic, social, and emotional concerns
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and special education teams to develop and support IEPs and 504 plans
  • Provide consultation, counseling, and crisis intervention to students and staff as needed
  • Contribute to schoolwide initiatives supporting mental health and positive learning climates
  • Maintain accurate documentation and compliance with state and federal guidelines
