Make a meaningful impact supporting students from Kindergarten through 8th grade as a contract school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This in-person opportunity spans two neighboring schools and offers the flexibility to accommodate multiple part-time professionals or 1-2 full-time roles, with an assignment running from July 30th through June 2nd. You'll play a key role in fostering students’ academic, behavioral, and social-emotional development.
Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Licensed or eligible for licensure as a School Psychologist for K-8 settings
- Proven expertise in conducting IEP evaluations and delivering services as outlined in student plans
- Strong interpersonal skills to collaborate with team members, including the Building Crisis Team and Student Intervention team
- Experience using data-driven problem solving to support learning and behavioral initiatives
- Deep understanding of school-based intervention models and crisis response
- Ability to build rapport with students, families, and interdisciplinary staff
Primary Responsibilities:
- Complete daily duties of a school psychologist, including performing evaluations, consulting with teachers and families, and supporting IEP processes
- Serve as an essential member of problem-solving teams focused on student success
- Participate actively in the Building Crisis Team and Student Intervention Team
- Deliver support services to students, staff, and caregivers across elementary and middle school settings
- Foster a positive learning environment by implementing effective interventions and collaborating on proactive initiatives
