Step into a meaningful contract opportunity supporting elementary and middle school students as a School Psychologist. This position encourages you to play a vital role within a collaborative educational environment, engaging closely with both Wolf Creek Elementary and Forest Spring Middle. You’ll work onsite to positively influence the academic and personal growth of students from kindergarten through 8th grade.

Responsibilities in this role include participating in daily school psychologist duties such as providing expertise to problem-solving teams, actively contributing to student intervention strategies, and serving on the Building Crisis Team. An important focus will be conducting IEP evaluations and delivering related services, ensuring compliance and fostering student success. Your expertise will help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive educational atmosphere across both schools located conveniently next door to each other.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Valid credential or licensure as a school psychologist
  • Experience working with K-8 populations preferred
  • Knowledge of IEP evaluation processes and IDEA compliance
  • Strong collaboration and communication skills; able to be an effective part of multidisciplinary teams
  • Proficient in developing and implementing interventions and crisis response protocols
  • Commitment to being fully onsite throughout the contract assignment

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive student evaluations for IEP eligibility and services
  • Participate in Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams
  • Support problem-solving processes for at-risk students
  • Collaborate with educators, administrators, and families for cohesive student support
