Key Qualifications:
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Background in educational settings, preferably elementary (K-5)
- Experience with special education eligibility, IEP evaluations, and service delivery
- Skilled in facilitating problem-solving processes, Student Intervention Teams, and crisis management
- Collaborative, communicative, and solution-oriented approach in team settings
Core Responsibilities:
- Act as a resident expert on assessment and intervention for students within the school
- Serve as a proactive member of the Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis Team
- Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in the development of IEPs
- Provide direct services, behavioral consultation, and support for students and staff
- Engage in ongoing problem solving, collaborate with staff to address student needs, and contribute to a positive learning environment
