This contract opportunity for a school psychologist is perfectly suited for professionals dedicated to student growth and collaborative problem-solving. You'll work closely with staff as part of a multidisciplinary building team, providing expertise in assessment, intervention, and crisis response for young learners in kindergarten through fifth grade.

Key Qualifications:

  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Background in educational settings, preferably elementary (K-5)
  • Experience with special education eligibility, IEP evaluations, and service delivery
  • Skilled in facilitating problem-solving processes, Student Intervention Teams, and crisis management
  • Collaborative, communicative, and solution-oriented approach in team settings

Core Responsibilities:

  • Act as a resident expert on assessment and intervention for students within the school
  • Serve as a proactive member of the Student Intervention Team and Building Crisis Team
  • Conduct psychoeducational evaluations and participate in the development of IEPs
  • Provide direct services, behavioral consultation, and support for students and staff
  • Engage in ongoing problem solving, collaborate with staff to address student needs, and contribute to a positive learning environment

This assignment runs from July 30th to June 2nd, offering a consistent 37.5-hour work week in a vibrant elementary school setting. The position is full-time, onsite only at this time. Embrace a role where your insight and care truly influence a school community's success.
