Elevate your impact as a contract School Psychologist supporting K-12 students with significant needs. This rewarding assignment spans the academic year, from August 12, 2026, to May 21, 2027, situated in the greater Kansas City area. Collaborate with educators and families while providing vital assessment and intervention services to students with intense disabilities—including those who are non-verbal, physically impaired, or using assistive technology for communication.

Your expertise will help shape meaningful educational experiences, as you travel between multiple school sites to ensure every student receives comprehensive psychological services. Detailed information about caseloads will be shared during the interview process.

What you’ll bring:

  • Certification and credentials as a School Psychologist in the state of Kansas.
  • Experience working with K-12 students, especially those with significant or complex disabilities.
  • Proficiency administering and interpreting psychological assessments and writing actionable reports.
  • Comfort collaborating with multidisciplinary teams and families to develop effective educational and behavioral supports.
  • Flexibility and organization to manage responsibilities across multiple locations if needed.
  • Familiarity with assistive technology devices and non-verbal communication strategies is a strong plus.

In this role, you will:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for students with diverse, intensive needs.
  • Develop plans and recommendations to maximize student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with IEP teams to support individualized programming.
  • Travel between assigned campuses as required.
  • Contribute to a supportive and inclusive school environment.
