What We're Looking For:
- Valid certification/licensure as a School Psychologist
- Previous experience working as a school psychologist, preferably in K-12 settings
- Strong background conducting assessments and testing for students with intensive disabilities
- Comfort engaging with students who are non-verbal or require assistive technology devices
- Willingness to travel between multiple school locations within the district as needed
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Your Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-person psychological assessments for students exhibiting intense disabilities
- Collaborate with special education teams, educators, and families to interpret findings and develop effective support strategies
- Prepare comprehensive reports and documentation per state and district requirements
- Consult and participate in IEP meetings as a key resource for student advocacy
