School Psychologist in Lenexa, KS

In this contract opportunity, you’ll work onsite alongside dedicated teams to help foster a productive and supportive environment for students in kindergarten through 5th grade. This position runs from late July through early June, providing valuable experience in a vibrant educational community.

What you'll bring:

• Active certification/license as a School Psychologist
• Previous experience in school-based settings preferred
• Strong skills in student intervention, crisis response, and problem-solving processes
• Proficiency in conducting IEP evaluations and delivering related services
• Ability to collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams
• Excellent organizational, communication, and documentation abilities

What you'll do:

• Partner with the Student Intervention and Building Crisis Teams to address student needs and collaborate on behavioral and academic supports
• Lead and participate in problem-solving processes to promote positive outcomes for students and staff
• Administer and interpret assessments for IEP evaluations, and contribute to planning and implementing individualized services
• Serve as a crucial member of the building team, engaging in preventative and responsive services
• Support and advise teachers, families, and staff, promoting a safe and healthy school climate
