Make a difference supporting students in an engaging elementary school setting as a school psychologist. This contract role offers the opportunity to work collaboratively within an educational community, providing vital services to kindergarten through fifth-grade students. You’ll play an integral role on multiple school-based teams, addressing student needs and contributing to a supportive learning environment.
Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Licensed or credentialed as a school psychologist (or eligibility for licensure)
- Experience with IEP evaluations, services, and implementation of interventions
- Knowledge of multi-tiered systems of support, problem-solving processes, and behavioral interventions
- Strong communication skills for collaborating with educators, families, and specialists
- Experience working with children in K-5th grade preferred
- Ability to participate fully onsite
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough assessments and contribute to the development and review of IEPs
- Serve as an important member of the Student Intervention Team, Building Crisis Team, and other collaborative groups
- Collaborate with educators and support staff in problem-solving processes to address academic, emotional, and behavioral needs
- Provide consultation to staff and families to help foster a safe, positive environment
- Maintain thorough documentation and uphold compliance standards
- Support students’ educational journeys from start to finish during the school year
