Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Demonstrated experience providing psychological evaluations and assessments in school settings
  • Strong knowledge of IEP and 504 processes, along with familiarity with state and federal special education regulations
  • Excellent communication, consultation, and teamwork abilities
  • Compassion and dedication to fostering inclusivity and student growth

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide clear, actionable reports
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to design and monitor interventions that support student learning and emotional health
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
  • Support crisis intervention and resolution, providing counseling or referrals as needed
  • Promote best practices for RTI/MTSS frameworks to support diverse learner needs
  • Deliver training and guidance to educators regarding behavioral management and mental health awareness
