Qualifications and Preferred Experience:
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Demonstrated experience providing psychological evaluations and assessments in school settings
- Strong knowledge of IEP and 504 processes, along with familiarity with state and federal special education regulations
- Excellent communication, consultation, and teamwork abilities
- Compassion and dedication to fostering inclusivity and student growth
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments and provide clear, actionable reports
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and parents to design and monitor interventions that support student learning and emotional health
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to help develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and Section 504 plans
- Support crisis intervention and resolution, providing counseling or referrals as needed
- Promote best practices for RTI/MTSS frameworks to support diverse learner needs
- Deliver training and guidance to educators regarding behavioral management and mental health awareness
