This contract opportunity offers flexibility for both full-time and part-time School Psychologists, and welcomes those interested in a hybrid work schedule. You’ll work with a diverse population of 500-600 students, including various emotional and autism support programs, within a proactive framework using the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).
Your primary responsibilities will be focused on conducting comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, collaborating with staff to provide the best support for students, and contributing your expertise to a highly valued school team.
Qualifications and Experience Desired:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or certification (state-specific requirements apply)
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
- Experience with elementary-level students and/or special education populations is preferred
- Skilled in conducting psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and developing meaningful intervention plans
- Familiarity with MTSS and experience supporting students with emotional and/or autistic needs
- Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a collaborative approach
Responsibilities Include:
- Performing psychological assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations as required
- Collaborating with educators, parents, and specialists to interpret assessment results and inform educational planning
- Supporting the MTSS process through targeted recommendations and tailored interventions
- Contributing expertise to emotional and autism support classes within the elementary setting
- Documenting findings and recommendations in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements
