School Psychologist in Lewistown, PA

You’ll work with a diverse population of 500-600 students, including various emotional and autism support programs, within a proactive framework using the Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS).

Your primary responsibilities will be focused on conducting comprehensive evaluations and re-evaluations, collaborating with staff to provide the best support for students, and contributing your expertise to a highly valued school team.

Qualifications and Experience Desired:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or certification (state-specific requirements apply)
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or closely related field
• Experience with elementary-level students and/or special education populations is preferred
• Skilled in conducting psychological evaluations, re-evaluations, and developing meaningful intervention plans
• Familiarity with MTSS and experience supporting students with emotional and/or autistic needs
• Strong communication and organizational abilities, with a collaborative approach

Responsibilities Include:

• Performing psychological assessments for initial evaluations and re-evaluations as required
• Collaborating with educators, parents, and specialists to interpret assessment results and inform educational planning
• Supporting the MTSS process through targeted recommendations and tailored interventions
• Contributing expertise to emotional and autism support classes within the elementary setting
• Documenting findings and recommendations in accordance with school policies and regulatory requirements
