Qualifications and Preferred Experience:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
  • Valid state licensure or eligibility for licensure as a School Psychologist
  • Previous experience in school-based settings is preferred
  • Strong assessment, intervention, and counseling skills for diverse student populations
  • Excellent communication abilities for collaborating with staff, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Knowledge of special education law, evaluation procedures, and behavioral interventions

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students’ cognitive, academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to develop effective, data-driven interventions and instructional strategies
  • Participate in IEP meetings, eligibility meetings, and provide recommendations to support educational planning
  • Provide individualized and group counseling to students to address learning and emotional challenges
  • Assist with crisis management support and consultation to promote a safe, supportive learning environment
  • Deliver training and resources to staff and families on best practices and mental health awareness
