Embark on a meaningful contract assignment working with students to support their academic and mental health development in a dynamic educational setting. This position offers the opportunity to make a significant impact through psychoeducational evaluations, counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention. Key Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in School Psychology required
  • Minimum two years of experience as a school psychologist intern (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
  • State certification as a School Psychologist is mandatory
  • Proficient in administering, scoring, and interpreting a range of psychological assessments
  • Exceptional communication, collaboration, and report-writing abilities
  • Comfortable with technology for student records, test administration, reporting, and virtual collaboration for remote candidates
  • Capable of managing sedentary work with occasional light lifting

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations for special education eligibility
  • Assess student ability, achievement, personality, and behavior through individual evaluations
  • Communicate assessment results to parents, teachers, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Provide evidence-based individual and group counseling
  • Consult and collaborate with educators, parents, and external agencies on student needs
  • Develop and review IEPs; participate in student assessment teams
  • Coordinate crisis management and deliver intervention services as needed
  • Complete documentation, including Medicaid reimbursement and various reports
  • Stay updated on professional standards, legislation, and best practices; participate in relevant in-service instruction
