Make a meaningful difference in the lives of students as a school psychologist in a dynamic educational environment. This full-time contract opportunity, spanning August 2026 through May 2027, allows you to work onsite supporting students, families, and educational teams with a comprehensive approach to psychoeducational and mental health needs.

In this role, you’ll:

  • Conduct thorough psychoeducational evaluations to determine student eligibility for special education services
  • Administer, score, and document abilities, achievement, and psychological tests for individual students
  • Communicate evaluation results clearly to parents, teachers, and relevant staff
  • Observe student behavior and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop tailored strategies
  • Deliver individual and group counseling, as well as consult on mental health and behavioral supports
  • Participate in Student Assessment Teams, attend placement meetings, and support development of IEPs
  • Lead or contribute to crisis management programs and interventions at both the school and district levels
  • Work closely with teachers, administrators, parents, and external agencies to support student success
  • Stay current with professional trends, legislation, and practices in school psychology
  • Manage documentation, Medicaid reimbursement processes, and ongoing reporting requirements

We’re seeking candidates with:

  • A master’s degree in school psychology and at least two years’ internship or related experience
  • State certification as a School Psychologist
  • Strong analytical, communication, and collaborative skills
  • Comfort operating computers, standard office equipment, and occasionally transporting materials
  • Ability to handle multiple priorities, maintain professionalism under deadlines, and adapt to diverse situations
