Qualifications and Experience:
- Current School Psychologist certification and active licensure in South Carolina
- Experience working with K-12 students—elementary, middle, and high school
- Skilled in conducting psychological evaluations and assessments
- Strong understanding of educational and behavioral interventions
- Ability to develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Committed to ethical practice and maintaining confidentiality
- Excellent communication, collaboration, and documentation skills
Role Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological evaluations and assessments for students across K-12 grade levels
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to interpret assessment results and recommend interventions
- Provide consultation and support services to school staff for student educational planning
- Help develop strategies to address learning, behavioral, and social-emotional needs
- Participate as a member of the multidisciplinary team for eligibility and educational planning meetings
- Maintain accurate, timely, and confidential records in compliance with state and federal guidelines
