A rewarding opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support student success and well-being in educational settings. This role involves providing psychological services that assist students in overcoming challenges, promoting mental health, and enhancing academic performance.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Conducting psychological assessments and evaluations to identify students’ learning abilities and emotional needs
  • Collaborating with teachers, parents, and administrators to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Providing counseling and intervention strategies to support students’ social, emotional, and behavioral development
  • Participating in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure comprehensive student support
  • Traveling between schools within the assigned area to deliver services and maintain consistent engagement

Desired qualifications and experience:

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Certification or licensure as a School Psychologist recognized in the state
  • Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments within school environments
  • Strong knowledge of special education laws and mental health practices in schools
  • Excellent communication skills and a collaborative approach to working with students, families, and educators
  • Ability and willingness to travel between school sites as required
