A dynamic opportunity is available for a skilled School Psychologist to support educational environments in Lexington, SC. This role involves travel between schools to provide comprehensive psychological services aimed at fostering student well-being and academic success.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and interpret data to identify student needs
- Develop and implement intervention plans to support student learning and behavioral health
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and administrators to create supportive educational plans
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention as needed
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate records and documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Master's or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field from an accredited program
- Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist
- Experience conducting assessments and developing interventions in school settings
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively collaborate with diverse teams
- Ability to manage travel requirements and adapt to multiple school environments
- Knowledge of educational laws, regulations, and best practices related to special education and student services
