Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification or licensure as a School Psychologist.
- Experience conducting assessments, developing interventions, and collaborating with multidisciplinary teams.
- Proficient in utilizing psychological evaluation tools and developing individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Skilled at providing counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral consultation within a school-based environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a compassionate and student-centered approach.
- Ability to work independently and flexibly to address evolving school needs.
- Previous experience with “looping” support models or ongoing case management is a plus.
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for referred students.
- Collaborate with educators, families, and other specialists to develop and monitor effective support plans.
- Provide consultation and guidance to staff on behavioral and academic concerns.
- Deliver direct and indirect support services designed to improve students’ well-being and school adjustment.
- Contribute to multidisciplinary meetings, assist with crisis management, and support positive school climate initiatives.
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
- Offer “looping” psychological support as needed, ensuring continuity of care for assigned students.
