Qualifications & Preferred Experience:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification in Ohio
- Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
- Proven experience in conducting student assessments and interpreting results
- Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and related educational laws
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build rapport with students
- Experience developing and implementing behavioral and academic interventions preferred
Responsibilities:
- Perform psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students as required by law or school needs
- Interpret assessment results and provide clear, actionable recommendations to support student learning and mental health
- Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings, offering expertise to ensure appropriate supports are in place
- Deliver counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based interventions
- Contribute to a positive school climate by supporting preventative mental health programs and initiatives
- Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with school policies and federal guidelines
