School Psychologist - Lima, Ohio

Qualifications & Preferred Experience:

• Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility for certification in Ohio
• Master’s or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field
• Proven experience in conducting student assessments and interpreting results
• Strong understanding of IDEA, Section 504, and related educational laws
• Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and build rapport with students
• Experience developing and implementing behavioral and academic interventions preferred

Responsibilities:

• Perform psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations for students as required by law or school needs
• Interpret assessment results and provide clear, actionable recommendations to support student learning and mental health
• Participate in IEP and 504 planning and meetings, offering expertise to ensure appropriate supports are in place
• Deliver counseling, consultation, and crisis intervention services as needed
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and families to implement evidence-based interventions
• Contribute to a positive school climate by supporting preventative mental health programs and initiatives
• Keep accurate records and maintain confidentiality in compliance with school policies and federal guidelines
