Qualifications and Experience Needed:

  • Active School Psychologist certification/license
  • Previous experience in a school setting preferred
  • Strong knowledge of psychological assessments, special education procedures, and IEP processes
  • Excellent communication skills for collaborating with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and caseloads across two school sites
  • Passion for fostering a supportive learning environment for diverse student populations

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological evaluations, assessments, and behavior observations
  • Participate in special education eligibility meetings, IEP development, and student progress reviews
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students as needed
  • Support crisis intervention and consult with school staff on student behavioral or academic concerns
  • Develop and implement strategies to support positive student behavior and academic achievement
  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation in line with school and legal requirements
  • Work collaboratively with teachers, administrators, and parents to design interventions and support plans
