What you’ll bring:

• Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (required)
• Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting, especially at the elementary level
• Proficiency in conducting evaluations and re-evaluations using approved protocols
• Strong ability to participate actively in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings
• Skills in crisis intervention and providing immediate support when necessary
• Compassion, strong communication, and a spirit of collaboration with educators, students, and families

What you’ll do:

• Carry a caseload focusing on elementary-level students’ needs
• Administer and interpret a variety of standardized assessments for initial and re-evaluations
• Collaborate as a member of MTSS teams to develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans
• Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding student concerns and behavioral challenges
• Participate in crisis intervention efforts to ensure student safety and well-being
• Assist with IEP development in compliance with state and federal regulations

As part of this contract position, compensation will range from $45/hr to $55/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
