What you’ll bring:
- Valid Michigan School Psychologist Certification (required)
- Experience working as a School Psychologist in a school setting, especially at the elementary level
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and re-evaluations using approved protocols
- Strong ability to participate actively in MTSS (Multi-Tiered System of Supports) meetings
- Skills in crisis intervention and providing immediate support when necessary
- Compassion, strong communication, and a spirit of collaboration with educators, students, and families
What you’ll do:
- Carry a caseload focusing on elementary-level students’ needs
- Administer and interpret a variety of standardized assessments for initial and re-evaluations
- Collaborate as a member of MTSS teams to develop, implement, and monitor intervention plans
- Offer guidance and support to teachers and parents regarding student concerns and behavioral challenges
- Participate in crisis intervention efforts to ensure student safety and well-being
- Assist with IEP development in compliance with state and federal regulations
As part of this contract position, compensation will range from $45/hr to $55/hr depending on qualifications and experience.
