Desired Qualifications:

  • Certified School Psychologist with relevant credentials for practice
  • Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
  • Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent development
  • Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and reporting for academic and behavioral concerns
  • Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
  • Able to adapt to supporting several buildings and manage varying caseloads efficiently
  • Commitment to ethical practice and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, using a variety of tools
  • Develop, recommend, and help implement intervention strategies to enhance student performance and well-being
  • Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to support the unique needs of each student
  • Consult with families and team members, explaining assessment results and recommendations
  • Support and participate in the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
  • Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed
  • Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
