Desired Qualifications:
- Certified School Psychologist with relevant credentials for practice
- Previous experience working in a school setting strongly preferred
- Comprehensive understanding of child and adolescent development
- Strong skills in assessment, intervention, and reporting for academic and behavioral concerns
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to engage with students, staff, and parents
- Able to adapt to supporting several buildings and manage varying caseloads efficiently
- Commitment to ethical practice and sensitivity to diverse student backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments for students, using a variety of tools
- Develop, recommend, and help implement intervention strategies to enhance student performance and well-being
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and administrative staff to support the unique needs of each student
- Consult with families and team members, explaining assessment results and recommendations
- Support and participate in the creation of Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention and behavioral consultation as needed
- Maintain detailed and accurate documentation in compliance with regulations
