School Psychologist - Littleton, Colorado

Embark on a rewarding contract opportunity as a school psychologist serving students across two school settings in the vibrant Denver area. This onsite, full-time role (37.5 hours weekly, Monday through Friday) begins ASAP and continues through late May 2027. Assignments will be matched to early childhood through high school age ranges depending on district need, with specific sites and caseloads provided on a first-come, first-served basis.

Bring your expertise to a collaborative school environment by delivering compassionate mental health and assessment services. Contribute directly to the educational and emotional growth of students by providing counseling, conducting assessments, and supporting crisis interventions. Engage regularly with interdisciplinary teams, families, and community partners to craft holistic, adaptive support for each child’s unique situation.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Minimum 3 years of previous school-based psychologist experience
• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctoral degree in School Psychology
• Active CDE Special Service Provider License with School Psychology endorsement
• Strong student assessment and intervention-planning skills
• Calm, effective responses in crisis situations
• Proficiency in oral and written communication
• Demonstrated ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and diverse communities
• Robust computer literacy and technology competence
• Background check and fingerprinting required for credentialing

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct group and individual counseling based on IEP goals
• Develop and document targeted academic, social-emotional, and behavioral interventions
• Perform suicide risk and threat assessments, create safety plans, and manage crises
• Complete cognitive, social, emotional, and behavioral assessments; write evaluation reports
• Consult and collaborate with families, teachers, and external service providers
• Participate in IEP, team, and behavioral health meetings
• Provide psychoeducation, consultation, and professional development to staff
• Assist with general education and special education initiatives
