Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist certification (state requirements must be met)
- Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or related field
- Experience with MTSS, IEP meetings, evaluations, and behavioral interventions
- Knowledge of federal and state special education laws
- Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational assessments
- Collaborate closely with teachers, parents, and support staff to develop and implement intervention strategies
- Participate in eligibility, IEP, and multi-disciplinary team meetings
- Provide individual and group counseling to support student social-emotional health
- Contribute expertise in crisis intervention and prevention programs
- Help interpret assessment data to guide instructional planning and services
