Qualifications:

• Master’s, Specialist’s, or Doctorate degree in School Psychology
• Active CDE Special Service Provider License endorsement in School Psychology
• Previous direct school experience required
• Demonstrated expertise in student assessment and crisis response
• Strong oral/written communication and collaborative skills
• Exceptional critical thinking, interpersonal, and organizational abilities
• Proficient with technology and digital documentation
• Ability to work effectively with diverse student and community populations
• Must pass district background check and fingerprinting

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver individual and group counseling to special education students per IEPs
• Develop interventions addressing academic, mental health, social, and behavioral needs
• Provide services in general education settings and document all activities thoroughly
• Conduct risk and threat assessments, assist with crisis response and safety planning
• Perform comprehensive evaluations, including observations, interviews, and report writing
• Collaborate in IEP, MTSS, behavioral health, and staff meetings
• Lead psychoeducation, professional development, and consultation for staff and families
• Facilitate connections to community resources and support for students with 504 plans
• Serve in various school settings based on assigned leave coverage (middle, elementary, or P-8 environments)
