This position offers an exciting opportunity for a School Psychologist to provide essential psychological services within a school setting starting in Spring 2026. The role is onsite in Liverpool, NY, and involves a variety of responsibilities focused on supporting students’ educational and emotional needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive, academic, social, and emotional functioning.
- Chair Committee on Special Education (CSE) meetings to discuss student evaluations and create individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Collaborate closely with educators, parents, and other school professionals to develop and implement interventions.
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in compliance with state regulations and school policies.
- Provide counseling and crisis intervention services as needed.
Qualifications:
- New York State School Psychologist Certification is required.
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments and familiarity with CSE procedures.
- Strong communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively with a diverse student population and multidisciplinary teams.
