This contract opportunity runs through the 2026-2027 school year, offering full-time, onsite hours (Monday through Friday, 7.25 hours daily). Qualifications:
- New York School Psychologist certification required
- Previous experience chairing CSE/CPSE meetings is highly preferred
- Background in conducting formal assessments for early elementary students
- Strong organizational, leadership, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with special education processes and compliance
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform student evaluations, including cognitive, social-emotional, and behavioral assessments
- Serve as the Chairperson for CSE meetings, coordinating services and collaborating with stakeholders
- Support IEP development, facilitate team discussions, and provide consultative services
- Maintain thorough, timely documentation and uphold confidentiality standards
- Engage in proactive communication with staff and families to ensure each student’s needs are met
- Foster an inclusive, supportive school climate for students in Kindergarten through 2nd grade
