Qualifications and Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification or eligibility as a School Psychologist
- Master’s or specialist-level degree in School Psychology or related field required
- Strong understanding of MTSS, Response to Intervention (RTI), and special education procedures
- Experience conducting psychoeducational assessments and preparing comprehensive reports
- Effective communication skills for collaboration with educators, administrators, students, and families
- Commitment to ethical standards and confidentiality in all practices
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual assessments and interpret results to inform intervention and support plans
- Collaborate with teachers, counselors, and families to develop strategies addressing academic, social, and behavioral needs
- Participate in eligibility and IEP meetings, offering recommendations rooted in evaluation data and best practices
- Deliver counseling or skill-building sessions to students and consult with staff to foster positive environments
