Qualifications & Experience:
- Active, valid Michigan School Psychologist license (must be included with application materials)
- Master’s degree in School Psychology from an accredited institution
- Previous experience in a school setting is preferred, but not required
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate with teachers, families, and administrators
- Commitment to supporting the diverse learning and emotional needs of elementary students
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments, observations, and interventions to support student learning and emotional development
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) as part of a multidisciplinary team
- Provide consultation and resources to teachers, staff, and families to address academic and behavioral challenges
- Participate in crisis intervention and offer training sessions on student mental health and wellness
- Maintain thorough documentation in compliance with state and district guidelines
