As a Student Services School Psychologist, you will play a crucial role in promoting student success and enhancing emotional, academic, and behavioral development through direct services and collaborative efforts with educators and families.
Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential or eligibility
- Previous experience working in K-12 educational settings preferred
- In-depth understanding of MTSS, IEP process, and psychological assessments
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to adapt to changing environments and student populations
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
Core Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and behavioral assessments
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized education plans (IEPs)
- Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and support staff to foster a positive learning atmosphere
- Provide consultation and resources for parents and faculty on student mental health needs
- Support crisis intervention efforts and participate in student support teams
- Promote safe, inclusive, and supportive school environments
