Key Qualifications & Experience:
- Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
- Experience working with K-12 students preferred
- Strong background in conducting IQ testing and interpreting results
- Skilled in preparing detailed psychological and assessment reports
- Familiarity with IEP processes and developing effective intervention strategies
- Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor graduate students or interns
- Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills
Primary Responsibilities:
- Supervise students progressing toward careers as School Psychologists, offering mentorship and hands-on experience
- Administer and interpret a variety of psychological and cognitive assessments (including IQ tests) tailored to student needs
- Compile comprehensive evaluations, contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensure accurate, concise reporting
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
- Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and evidence-based recommendations to promote student well-being
