Step into an essential role supporting students in a K-12 educational setting as a contract School Psychologist in the Lizella, GA area. Key Qualifications & Experience:

  • Active certification or licensure as a School Psychologist (or eligibility to obtain)
  • Experience working with K-12 students preferred
  • Strong background in conducting IQ testing and interpreting results
  • Skilled in preparing detailed psychological and assessment reports
  • Familiarity with IEP processes and developing effective intervention strategies
  • Demonstrated ability to supervise and mentor graduate students or interns
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and documentation skills

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Supervise students progressing toward careers as School Psychologists, offering mentorship and hands-on experience
  • Administer and interpret a variety of psychological and cognitive assessments (including IQ tests) tailored to student needs
  • Compile comprehensive evaluations, contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings, and ensure accurate, concise reporting
  • Support the development and implementation of IEPs, collaborating with educators, families, and support staff
  • Provide crisis intervention, consultation, and evidence-based recommendations to promote student well-being
