Desired Qualifications and Experience:
- Current license or eligibility for certification as a School Psychologist in Georgia
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or a related field
- Experience working within school settings, such as public or private
- Strong skills conducting psychoeducational assessments and writing clear, actionable reports
- Knowledge of IDEA, Section 504, IEP, and MTSS/RTI procedures
- Effective consultation and communication abilities with students, families, and multidisciplinary teams
- Passion for fostering inclusive learning environments
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive student assessments and interpret results for educational planning
- Develop and present recommendations for IEPs and other student supports
- Provide consultation to teachers and families regarding interventions and behavioral strategies
- Help implement prevention and early intervention programs
- Support a positive, safe school climate and advocate for student needs
- Participate in eligibility, placement, and intervention meetings as needed
