Qualifications & Desired Background:
- Current certification and licensure as a School Psychologist (state-specific requirements must be met)
- Master's or Specialist-level degree in School Psychology from an accredited program
- Strong background in psychological assessment, intervention, and consultation in an educational setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for engaging with students, staff, and families
- Commitment to ethical practice and cultural competence in diverse learning environments
- Previous experience in a school-based position is highly valued
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychoeducational evaluations and interpret assessment data to inform educational planning
- Provide direct and indirect interventions, including individual and group counseling or behavioral support
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to design and implement strategies for academic and behavioral success
- Consult with teachers, administrators, and families to support student learning and address barriers
- Participate in IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and help craft tailored intervention plans
