Qualifications & Experience:
- Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
- Valid state certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist
- Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
- Solid knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
- Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ needs
- Interpret assessment results and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and intervention plans
- Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services
- Collaborate with staff and parents to foster inclusive learning environments
- Deliver staff training and consult with educators regarding classroom strategies and behavioral management
- Promote mental wellness initiatives and participate in prevention programs within the school
- Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
