Qualifications & Experience:

  • Master’s or higher degree in School Psychology or related field
  • Valid state certification/license to practice as a School Psychologist
  • Experience working with high school-aged students preferred
  • Solid knowledge of psychological assessment tools and intervention strategies
  • Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills
  • Ability to build rapport with students from diverse backgrounds

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and educational assessments to identify students’ needs
  • Interpret assessment results and work closely with multidisciplinary teams to develop IEPs and intervention plans
  • Provide direct counseling, crisis intervention, and behavioral support services
  • Collaborate with staff and parents to foster inclusive learning environments
  • Deliver staff training and consult with educators regarding classroom strategies and behavioral management
  • Promote mental wellness initiatives and participate in prevention programs within the school
  • Maintain thorough and confidential records in compliance with federal, state, and district guidelines
