This role calls for a dedicated professional skilled in supporting both academic and emotional growth for K-12 students, providing expertise across diverse school environments.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Conducting thorough psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
- Completing comprehensive assessments for special education eligibility
- Interpreting testing outcomes and crafting clear, concise written reports
- Participating actively in eligibility discussions, IEP meetings, and parent conferences
- Collaborating closely with teachers, special education teams, and school administrators
- Supporting behavioral intervention planning and other student-related services
- Ensuring all documentation and processes adhere to established timelines and compliance standards
Qualifications and experience desired:
- Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
- Valid and active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
- School-based experience is preferred and will support transition into the role
- Demonstrated proficiency in evaluations, IEP development, and facilitating eligibility meetings
- Strong abilities in report writing and professional collaboration
