School Psychologist - Locust Grove, VA

Make a real difference in the lives of students through a fulfilling full-time contract as a School Psychologist working 37.5 hours per week. This role calls for a dedicated professional skilled in supporting both academic and emotional growth for K-12 students, providing expertise across diverse school environments.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough psychoeducational evaluations and re-evaluations
• Completing comprehensive assessments for special education eligibility
• Interpreting testing outcomes and crafting clear, concise written reports
• Participating actively in eligibility discussions, IEP meetings, and parent conferences
• Collaborating closely with teachers, special education teams, and school administrators
• Supporting behavioral intervention planning and other student-related services
• Ensuring all documentation and processes adhere to established timelines and compliance standards

Qualifications and experience desired:

• Master’s or Specialist degree in School Psychology
• Valid and active Virginia School Psychologist license or credential
• School-based experience is preferred and will support transition into the role
• Demonstrated proficiency in evaluations, IEP development, and facilitating eligibility meetings
• Strong abilities in report writing and professional collaboration
