This part-time, contract opportunity involves working as a School Psychologist for two elementary schools. You’ll spend one day per week (8 hours) at each location, actively contributing to student well-being in both Parker and Franktown. This role is ideal for professionals who are looking to foster positive change while enjoying the flexibility of a part-time schedule.
Key Qualifications:
- Valid certification as a School Psychologist, meeting state and professional requirements
- Experience conducting special education assessments, ideally in an elementary school environment
- Strong understanding of best practices in educational psychology, intervention strategies, and IEP development
- Excellent collaboration skills, able to work closely with educators, special education teams, and families
- Ability to manage time and case load efficiently across two different school sites
Core Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive psychological and educational evaluations for students referred to the special education process
- Interpret assessment data and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to support student goals
- Support the development and monitoring of IEPs, providing actionable recommendations for classroom accommodations
- Offer consultative services to teachers and staff for student intervention planning
- Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with district and state policies
- Serve as a resource to parents, fostering positive communication and support
