Embark on an impactful opportunity to provide essential services as a School Psychologist supporting two elementary schools near Lone Tree, CO. This part-time contract position will have you working one full day (8 hours) each week at both a Parker and a Franktown elementary school. Your expertise will make a difference in students’ educational journeys, especially through your assessment and support of special education needs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications:

  • Valid School Psychologist credential or license in the state of Colorado
  • Previous experience in school settings, preferably elementary level
  • Strong background in special education assessment, report writing, and eligibility determination
  • Proficiency in collaboration with educators, administrators, and families to support individualized student plans
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and organizational skills
  • Dedication to ethical practice and confidentiality in working with students

Role Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive special education evaluations and re-evaluations
  • Interpret psychological testing data, prepare detailed assessment reports, and contribute to multidisciplinary team meetings
  • Participate in the RTI/MTSS process, supporting early identification of student needs
  • Collaborate with teachers, families, and other professionals to promote effective interventions
  • Serve as an educational resource for staff and parents on matters related to student mental health and learning barriers
  • Maintain timely and organized documentation of assessments and services provided
