A full-time School Psychologist position is available for the 2026-2027 school year, serving elementary and middle school students in Longview, WA. This role focuses on supporting students with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe, providing essential psychological services to promote their academic and social success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments to identify students' needs and eligibility for special education services.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide counseling and support services to students to enhance their emotional well-being and academic performance.
- Monitor and evaluate student progress, adjusting interventions as necessary.
- Participate in staff training and development related to student mental health and learning needs.
- Maintain accurate records and comply with state and federal regulations related to special education.
Qualifications:
- Must hold current Washington State Certification as a School Psychologist.
- Experience working with elementary and middle school students across various disabilities.
- Strong skills in psychoeducational assessment and intervention strategies.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
- Commitment to student advocacy and supporting diverse learning needs.
Work Schedule and Location:
- Full-time position, Monday through Friday, 7 hours per day.
