In this full-time contract position for the 2026-2027 school year, you will collaborate with educators, families, and multidisciplinary teams to support elementary and middle school students with a wide range of disabilities, from mild to severe. Key Qualifications:
- Washington State School Psychologist certification (required)
- Experience with psychoeducational assessments, behavioral interventions, and report writing
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and staff
- Adaptability and empathy when managing cases involving various disabilities
- Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ethical standards
Primary Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations for students spanning elementary and middle school grades
- Develop, implement, and monitor Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIPs)
- Consult with teachers, support staff, and parents to identify and address students’ social, emotional, and academic needs
- Analyze data and provide recommendations for instructional or behavioral strategies
- Participate in eligibility meetings, multidisciplinary teams, and staff development activities
- Deliver crisis intervention as needed and facilitate referrals to outside resources
This position offers a competitive hourly rate of $55 to $65, providing a rewarding opportunity to work closely with a dedicated educational team on a Monday through Friday schedule, 7 hours per day.
