This full-time contract position offers the chance to support a diverse student population with a wide spectrum of needs, ranging from mild to severe disabilities.

Key Qualifications:

  • Washington State certification as a School Psychologist (required)
  • Proven experience working with children at the elementary or middle school level
  • Understanding of various disabilities and best practices in psychological assessment and intervention
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills for working with multidisciplinary teams, students, and families
  • Skilled in data-driven decision making and documentation in accordance with state and federal guidelines

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive psychological and psychoeducational assessments
  • Collaborate with teachers, staff, and families to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)
  • Provide direct and consultative services addressing students’ academic, behavioral, and emotional needs
  • Participate in eligibility determination meetings and multidisciplinary team discussions
  • Help create a safe, inclusive, and supportive school environment
  • Serve as a resource on child development, crisis intervention, and mental health topics

You’ll enjoy a predictable Monday-Friday schedule, working 7 hours each day, providing meaningful support and advocacy for students throughout the school year. The role offers compensation in the competitive range of $55 to $65 per hour, reflecting your expertise and commitment.
