Key qualifications and experience:

• Valid state certification or licensure as a School Psychologist or School Social Worker
• Prior experience developing and implementing individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs)
• Comfortable leading pre-referral and evaluative processes
• Expertise in supporting and collaborating with staff to manage challenging behaviors in multiple settings
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills when working with students, staff, and families
• Ability to work onsite for the full duration of the school year
• Previous elementary school experience preferred

What you’ll do:

• Develop, implement, and monitor behavior plans for students, aligning with staff and family input
• Conduct pre-referral screenings, evaluations, and participate in assessment teams
• Advise and train staff in behavior management techniques and interventions
• Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and related service providers for comprehensive student support
• Support positive school-wide behavioral initiatives and promote a supportive educational environment
