Key Qualifications:

• Valid School Psychologist certification or licensure
• Experience in behavior plan development and implementation
• Skilled in assisting staff with classroom and behavior management strategies
• Comfort with pre-referral processes, evaluations, and report writing
• Previous work with elementary populations preferred
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct behavioral assessments and create individualized behavior intervention plans
• Collaborate closely with educators and staff to support classroom management and student success
• Participate in pre-referral, referral, and evaluative activities as part of the special education process
• Engage with students across two elementary school locations as assigned
• Consult with teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to promote positive student outcomes
• Document interventions and monitor student progress

This contract position features a schedule of 35 hours per week (7 hours per day), aligning with the school calendar from August to late May, providing work-life balance and time off during school holidays.
