Qualifications and Experience:

  • Hold a current New Mexico state (NMRLD) license or have it in process by your start date.
  • Meet NMPED requirements, with pending status accepted if paperwork is in motion.
  • Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
  • Experience or interest in working with K-12 students; preferred caseload ages can be discussed during the interview.
  • Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to support student learning and well-being.
  • Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop and implement effective interventions.
  • Support the district’s multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) and special education programs.
  • Attend IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and document services as required.
