Qualifications and Experience:
- Hold a current New Mexico state (NMRLD) license or have it in process by your start date.
- Meet NMPED requirements, with pending status accepted if paperwork is in motion.
- Degree in School Psychology from an accredited program.
- Experience or interest in working with K-12 students; preferred caseload ages can be discussed during the interview.
- Strong communication skills and a collaborative approach.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to support student learning and well-being.
- Collaborate with educators, counselors, and families to develop and implement effective interventions.
- Support the district’s multi-tiered system of support (MTSS) and special education programs.
- Attend IEP meetings, contribute to eligibility determinations, and document services as required.
