Desired Qualifications:
- Valid School Psychologist credential (CA PPS or equivalent)
- Previous experience in K-12 school settings preferred
- Solid foundation in assessment, counseling, and crisis intervention
- Strong collaboration skills with multidisciplinary teams
- Excellent communication and organization abilities
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform psychological evaluations and assessments for students referred for academic, behavioral, and emotional concerns
- Support the development and implementation of IEPs and behavior intervention plans
- Provide individual and group counseling services as needed
- Consult with teachers, parents, and other professionals to develop strategies that promote student success
- Participate in student support team meetings and deliver training or workshops for staff when necessary
- Maintain documentation in accordance with district and state guidelines
