Qualifications/Desired Experience:
- Valid state certification/licensure as a school psychologist (or eligibility in California)
- Master's or Doctoral degree in school psychology or a related field
- Previous experience in a K-12 school setting preferred
- Strong assessment, counseling, and consultation skills
- Excellent communication and documentation abilities
- Flexibility to adapt to new environments quickly
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct cognitive, academic, and social-emotional assessments for students
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop effective Individualized Education Programs (IEPs)
- Provide crisis intervention, counseling, and behavioral support as needed
- Consult with educators, parents, and administrators regarding student progress and best practices
- Maintain accurate records in compliance with local and federal guidelines
